Laplace transformation in automation
Jakal, Martin ; Zatočilová, Jitka (referee) ; Tomášek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the application of Laplace transform in the control theory. Particularly, the analysis of the optimal control setting for a DC motor is realized by Ziegler-Nichols method. The problem analysis is provided by a Matlab script.
Information and communication technologies in energetics
Stavinoha, Jakub ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the information and communication technologies used in the energetic. Problematic areas in energetic which are regulation, metering, control of waste minimalizations, expense and maximalization of earnings. These aspects lead to implementing expert systems, which have to process this bulk of information necessary for increasing efficiency and economization of single processes. Systems used in practice have their own hierarchical structure, where every application requires specific access of selection of used components that suit to the application. First of all it is about acceptable device selection in single level of the system: metering and regulation, data acquisition out of the process and informative layer. Suitable choice flowing from previous, already settled up application is possible to reach maximum efficiency of the whole system. In the thesis there are introduced systems used in practice and possibilities of increase the effectiveness of generation, transmission and distribution with ICT usage in distributed power generation. We are mainly talking about upgrade processes joined with power generation of energy, diagnostics, isolation states on the power line and usage of expert systems for distribution.
Control of gas microturbine equipped with waste heat recovery system
Kijanica, Michael ; Konečná, Eva (referee) ; Máša, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with control of the cogeneration system which utilizes waste heat from gas microturbine. This complex cogeneration system was created in Laboratory of Energy Intensive Processes NETME Centre and its main purpose is the research in utilization of high temperature flue gas from Capstone C30 microturbine for drying laundry. In case of implementation of similar cogeneration system in industrial or commercial laundries, it is necessary to design automatic control of such system to make laundry - operations easier, minimizing energy waste and maximizing safety.
Control and regulation system for glass-house
Prokop, Martin ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is a design of automatic water system of greenhouse, which will be able measure temperature, relative humidity of air and soil. System will control air and water management based on these values.
Automatic control of small aggregate on water power plant
Žilka, Martin ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis try to define concept of automatic control of small aggregate on water power plant. Under consideration circuit of this water power plant is divide to few subcircuits for which are define specific processies which this circuits to do during automatic control. Circuit of turbine is detail defined for specific hydroenergetic source and is designed for using swirl turbine and controled by PLC Simatic S7 224 XP from Siemens.
Automatic process control of aftercooling in brickkiln
Cacek, Jan ; Ošmera, Pavel (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the multivariable automatic control system of aftercooling process in the brick industry tunnel kiln. Theoretical part submits the facilities of controlled systems identification and the design methods of uni and multi variable systems. In the practical section is cleared up the principal of the aftercooling process and its identification based on the measured data. The output of the thesis is the design and the analysis of multivariable system with the conservation of the control circuit autonomy.
Batch control of the barman machine
Slavinský, Vojtěch ; Knobloch, Tomáš (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with research on Batch Control and ISA95 standard. It also deals with the supplied robot with the work name Barman. The thesis describes its real state in terms of hardware and software. Subsequently, the thesis describes the design of Barman control according to standards for Batch Control. The implementation of this proposal is the content of the second part of this work.
Altitude Control of Quadrotor UAV
Hamáček, Vojtěch ; Chromý, Adam (referee) ; Gábrlík, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and implement remote control and stabilization of altitude of own quadrotor. The work is first focused to realization of the quadrotor remote control. Subsequently, a brief summary of flight height sensors and possible ways to evaluate them. The practical implementation of the altitude evaluation is presented, followed by a brief summary of the possibilities of stabilization of the altitude and the implementation of the real controller, followed by real testing. The conclusion of the thesis contains a summary of the problem solved and the results achieved in real test.
SCADA/HMI systems in process control
Sobotka, Lubomír ; Máša, Vítězslav (referee) ; Chlápek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to make sommary basic principles of automatic control in process and power industry and describe chosen software, which is used in process and power industry. This thesis describes basic problems of automatic control and is engaged in theory of making vizualization screen and software know as SCADA/HMI.
